    Will do it tomorrow night sorry about all the cv stuff but from my days as a mechanic that noise is alwas associated with the cv joints must be one of those toyota things cheers for the advise and its nice to be able to post and reply on threads now

      deffo works i had same prob ,,,sounded horrible and expensive but as above a good dollop of grease on all 4 stops and now i am silent on full lock

        I'm confused now. so do you put the grease on them first, and put the new rubber stops on, or just grease them and not bother with the rubber stops?

          dont bother with the plastic caps if you put grease on there Steve.Just use one or the other

            The plastic caps wear through in no time so it's not worth buying them in my opinion.
            If at first you don't succeed.........give up.

                  Not so good I'm afraid mate. the lupus etc is progressive and taking hold of her more and more. she still has some good days though, so we make the most of them. Thanks for asking mate.
