Fly wheel required

Hi does anyone know where I can buy a new/used (pref 2nd hand as I cant afford a new one off Rough trax) fly wheel from for a 2.4TDI manual, I really need one asap. cheers

did you get this sorted if not i have a spare flywheel and newish clutch for a manual bought a manual surf but only used the engine ...

If you only buy the flywheel second hand make sure it's the right size for your clutch.
The pre-facelift 2.4 is 225mm and the post-facelift in 240mm.

I bought the solid flywheel kit and it comes with the 240mm clutch therefore upgrading my pre-facelift truck with a better clutch and a flywheel that is bomb proof (not to mention the fact that the full kit is cheaper than the original dual mass flywheel alone).

completely off topic and random but, ITS NOT A TDI, tdi's are only vag products and stand for turbo DIRECT injection and surf are indirect, so wrong on two accounts. anywho

Fly wheel conversion kit!

Hey mate. The conversion kit is best... Just done one myself 4 weeks ago! I found milner4x4 cheaper than roughtrax, plus you can order the kit throuh mill auto which gives piece of mind if you need to take it back! Worked out 495 then i was lucky enough to know a greace monkey that put it in for 100quid. If you need more info let me know. Cheers
