head replacement.

hello everyone,

my dad also has a surf, ln130, he has just had the water pump replaced now there is water squirting out of the head, the man who did the job is saying it has just cracked on its own!!? firstly is this possable? i know surfs can be prone to the head cracking, secondly, i have a head of a later model think its a kz model will this fit? and also are the head bolts stretch bolt that need to be replaced with new. he is in wales and i am in scotland so i can't just pop around the corner anymore.

any info appreciated.

Nah, lol, I've never seen it. sure its not a rusted out pipe or split hose that couldn't handle the new pump?

(oh, and your head won't fit...)

no, pipes are ok apparantly, dad says water definatly coming from the head near the pump....mmmm.

If it's coming out he front of the head then it could be a corroded or even loose welsch plug.
