back door issues

hi there not been on here long but i have a really strange problem.
my back door light every now and then comes on even if the window is closed, first it will fad on and off then come on and stay on. i can open the window but it wont let me close it again all i get is the little noise to say the boot is open. after a few slams and bashes it starts working again. any ideas??????????

i had the same thing on mine it was the lock switch just greased the mecanisam and worked the switch up and down and it's been fine since

well greased up all the locks and catches and it worked for a day or so. now what happens is the window goes down ok but will only go up with the lights on

yep i have exactly the same problem! i have just removed the relays and disconnected the power to the window as it had a habit of going down on its own , at temps of -20 outside at the mo it was not very nice, read through the posts on this, i have removed micro switch from barrel lock, cleaned and wd'd , now drying and will put back in the morning , will let you all know how it goes!
