Hi guys and gals, Flushed my radiator today in the hope it might cure my no heat through vents in cab but to no avail. Anyway this evening the temp shot right up into the red on the guage. I let the engine cool down before removing the Rad cap. I topped her up very slowly but noticed the water was being chucked right out again,also there was a sucking gurgling noise coming from inside. The coolant expansion tank was also empty so i topped that up again. Ive made sure ive squeezed all the pipes to make sure no air is trapped.

Ive now decided its time for a new car so if anyone would like to take this motor off my hands for parts they are more than welcome. Would rather punt the motor as one as ive not got time to strip her down.Im in Edinburgh by the way
