did you have both heaters set to hot with the engine running when you did it?

Well firstly i am not sure if i done it right in the first place, if you look at that unit that controls the heating and cooling you have tow pipes lets say flow the pipe going in and the return the pipe going out towards the cab it self.

I took both off and kept the engine running and the front heating on, and not the back. something did happen as I have some heating now, but not much, very little to tell you the truth.

can you please explain how i should have done it in the first.

once you put those 2 pipes back on just basically have the rad cap off and both heaters set to hot and on full blast then keep topping the coolant up till no more will go in.Then refit the rad cap and take the truck for a good run.Once home allow to cool and check the levels again and if neccessary repeat the above
