          As Matt said the autos have a different housing with the port for this switch plugged and the extra port. It's not a sender it's a switch. It's for the thermo fan in front of radiator. It will be normally closed and opens at a set temperature which allows the fan to operate. That's why when you unplug them the fan should operate providing the air con system is ok. There's something in the air con system which will prevent the fan from working if it's disconnected. I don't know what it is but when my air con was removed for repair unplugging the switch did not operate the fan.

                Just had a thought. The one shown on the Roughtrax site suits the autos with the different connector. Do they have the type with the spade connector? This is what the manuals have.
