Hilux Surf 2lte problems

Hi all

Theres an old hilux surf at home that has a few/a lot of problem (depends on how u people will understand it).

Model - hulix surf 1991
engine - 2LTE

Well, below is the outline of the problems.
- The vehicle is failing to start after my brothers played around with the engine (using the service manuals from this site). We tried pushing it but still no luck (not even any smoke from the exhaust).
- The tail lights & parking lights are not powering on
- We also need to know how to deal with the timing belt (how to time it)
- also need to know where the tail light relay is or rather is there any fuse for the tail lights thats blown?

By the way, the reason i turned to this forum is because the mechanism are like too expensive or maybe its just a way of telling us they cant help us fix the machine.

Check the stickies and the Oz techsite for the timing info and the fuses are down behind the drivers footwell kickpanel. You've most likely tw@tted the 80A glowplug fuse in the engine bay fuse block, with regards to the starting problem.

More specific info regarding what failing to start means exactly would be useful, by the way. That description can encompass pretty much all symptoms. What does and doesn't happen?
