Chris.
the twin steering dampers are basically for the higher lifted trucks
Supertrux should be able to do the brackets if you wanted one or get someone to make one up for you
As Stormforce said the Dual Steering Dampers are are basically for the higher lifted trucks with HUGE WHEELS eg MONSTER TRUCK.
The idea of a steering damper is to take the shock out of rough roads, rough terrain being transfered through to the steering components and you.
Big tyres such as those fitted to a Monster truck / Competition truck can put alot of stress on the steering components and thats why LA Supatrux fit them to there beasts
A Hilux fitted with 33" tyres wouldnt even need a such a big damper setup and would be a definite overkill on 99% of 4wds.
I do long distances on dirt in the lux on some of the worlds nastest corrugated tracks and all I have fitted is a $140 Old Man Emu steering damper which is basically a revalved Foam Oil Shocky
She works a treat still after about 40,000 kms and soaks up most of the $hi+ I throw at it.
Dont waste your money on the dual setup if your lux is not a monster truck.
Put it towards the single steup and some other goodies from LA Supatrux.
