  • Central door locking

    Hi

Could someone please help me. I am going to fit an alarm system to my Surf. I would like to know if the central door locking is a negative trigger or a positive/negative trigger or a positive trigger. And where is the best place to wire into the central door locking.

    Many thanks
    John

Hi, the central locking is negative trigger, i connected mine to two wires near to the CDL module under the dash as it was easiest to get to.

Anyone know where the control module is on a 185?
      Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)

        Where exactly are the wires

        Hi Guy

Thanks very much for that. Fitted most of the alarm, but could not define the wires you mentioned. Could you advise where exactly they are and what colour. Many thanks for all your help

whip the door panel off and check the wire colours going in to lock motor.

i think they were blue and green but i am only guessing from memory.

negative trigger and easy enough to fit, i did a clifford system on mine last year. top notch except the beep is the same as a halfrauds £15 alarm job lol.

Thanks for the advice, will get down and dirty with the beast tonight. Hopefully will be all singing all dancing when done.

            Cheers
