Just a thought..... when you washed off the engine did you bag over the fuse boxes glow plug fuse etc as there may be some water remaining? maybe some hoses were displaced? Also if there is water in them it will take a long time to dry ........... do you have lights when you turn the key?
also wouldn't have thought you would have seized the engine with that stuff as it was crankingLast edited by wiggy; 10 July 2009, 08:20.

Major Help Needed...!!!!
I'll start from the begining....!! yesterday i did 2 things.. first i degreased the engine and then washed off the degreaser.... then to seal an oil leak i poured some holts wondarweld in with the new oil....
I drove it no problem for about half a mile and it ground to a holt...!! left it for 5 minutes and it drove again for about the same distance and again ground to a holt...!!(flat battery after trying to start it) i was recovered and restarted it out side my garage... started it reved it for a few minutes and again it chugged to a holt..!! my thinking was water affecting the electrics on the pump...?? but now it will not even turn over..!! has all the symptoms of being seized..?? could this be possible? or could it have jumped the timing?? or has the wonderweld seized the engine..?? I have drained all the oil containing the wonderweld and filled it with fresh oil...
Any help would be great... cheersTags: None
