eww what dodgy f*&ker put this thing together ????
there were 2 bolts missing from the crank housing, one at the very bottom which is where all the oil is coming from and the other at the top drivers side (no biggy but was hard to get at with the iron bracket thing in front of it.).
ive tightened up the lower bolt the best i can but without stripping the entire front end its a tad hard to get to - plus the bracket is a sunken fit so i need a really thin socket to tighten properly and it just wont fit in there with all the other parts in the way.
this should minimise most of the oil that was coming out (a drip every minute by this stage).
ill check again in the morning but no doubt i may need to replace front crank shaft gasket (same as in the picture on page 1 of this thread).
