i have just got a surf 2.4 and it is under powerd the turbo light doesnt come onand i think its over fueling i have checked all pipes and all seem ok i hope someone can help

Is the red engine check light next to the turbo light on?

Search for 'diagnostics' to see if theres a code logged.

Was the truck running OK when you bought it?
Did the loss of power happen suddenly or gradually?

hi mate i got it running like that it just seems to run flat all the time i think it seems to be over fueling a bit

We need to know what year 2.4 you have, fill in the details under your username.

Low or lack of turbo boost is usually caused by lack of vacuum either from a faulty pressure sensor or a detatched/split/missing vacuum line.

Is the air filter clean? Dirty or restricted air filter will cause poor performace and unburnt fuel.

The pressure sensor is on the passenger side inner wing next to the power steering fluid reservoir, make sure the vacumm lines are connected to it and not dangling down somewhere.

all the pipes are fine and the air filter is new sounds like sensor can i get one from a toyota dealers i will try to get some photos tomorrow cheers

goodevening everyone i have checked everything and i know its efi i found a 2 pin connector in the pump area with a white and red wire with noware to go maby there is something missing off pump i would be greatfull for advice or a wiring diagram cheers
