Hey there, I'm up in Alaska for the summer and having a few car troubles. Needless to say, Hilux parts are hard to come by up here and have to be ordered in. I'm having troubles with my gearbox, thinking it's the dual mass flywheel going, and a wondering if a 4runner solid flywheel will work. I have a 1989 2.4l-t TD Hilux Surf.
Also, I know a lot of parts from the 4runner work with the hilux, but could we get a list going of parts that work and those that definitely don't work. I'm sure that this kind of a list would be extremely useful for all of us from Canada and other places what import japanese hilux's who own hilux's and travel away from our import mechanics for a trip.
