FItting a new Rad to 2.4TD Auto

Just bought a new radiator for my surf, anyone got any advice for fitting it myself or an idea of any problems I might face? Thanks

Biggest prob will be getting the shroud off if it's rusted in place like mine was. Apart from that it's only 4 bolts and a few pipes.(iirc) Make sure you have something handy to block off the atf pipes that go in the bottom of the rad too. I used a couple of bolts. Suppose a plastic bag and rubber bands would work too.

While the cooling sytem is drained take the oppurtunity to give it a good flush.

Search here on 'burping the cooling system' so you can be sure of no air locks when you refill.
