LN130 Dash Lights??

As i drove to work last night all was going well until all my dash lights came on then followed by the chime.

What would cause this to happen?

I have noticed that my battery volt indicater is lower than normal but the surf starts and drives like it normally does. Could it be the alternator on its way out? Would this make all the dash lights come on?

I'm very new to this so all advice would be greatly apprechiated.

Oh yeh its a LN130 2.4TD 1993

yep sounds like the alternator exactly same on my old 2.4
