Stop looking for the Temperature Sensor on the thermostat housing because, if you have one it won't be there. I would have thought that someone on here would know where it is by now. Your model and frame numbers will help identify your vehicle. If you have a latter 2L-T you will have a temperature sensor and a TPS along with an emissions control computer. The temperature sensor will be in the block under the manifold, above the starter roughly between cylinder three and four. The TPS could be on the fuel pump. If earlier it will not have them. Diagnostic codes between the 2L-T and 2L-TE are very different.
So, just recapping to bump this thread above the other one, we have established that Mr 303 has a late 2-LT and that it does have a TPS, temperature sensor and emissions control 'computer'. We have also established that no-one but Nev knew that.
We have established that 2-LT diagnostic codes and 2-LTE codes are different.
I suppose the next question is: what are the 2-LT diagnostic codes?
In that case, it's just a late 2-LT with a massive bundle of wires hanging over the engine. Maybe the loom burnt out and they could only get hold of one for a 2-LTE?
yer i re set the ecu and still have codes 4,7 all the other wires are ok just dont know what code 4 ,and 7 mean duse ne body know what the codes for a 2lt are thanks chris
