pair of batterys/ glow plugs/ fuse

firstly just bought x2 varta batterys for my 2.4 t/d guy stated these 630- 70ah are big enough ?is this correct in this cold weather.

2nd- how do you test glow plugs in the fixed position if possible and buy what.

3rd the 80 glow plug fuse can this be seen directly to see if blown.

With the fuse just take the lid off th fuse box and have a look
