you lot are jokers, i got it off easy in the end by hitting the cover behind it with a hammer. the stanley knife broke along with the nail file and needles, but thanks for the advice,oh yeah i also broke 2 bits off the cog with a chisel, its only some of the guide for the belt not actually any teeth, but the pieces were close together so i now have about 20mm of no guide on the cog, i dont think this will be a problem, any other opinions???
