trying too take cylinder head off my 2.4 turbo jreg surf.1st i cant see the lower nuts too rear of the inlet manifold let alone undo them and found out the lower nut on pipe that goes round the back of head from exhaust too inlet manifold the nut is rounded off just great huh? how do you get too udo the inlet nuts and bolts?? i took off filter parts on top of inlet manifold and injectors too still no joy underneath,any helps plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and any other tips please before i beat it with a stick

I think most people take the head off with the manifolds on . I know I did on 2 I done .

I second that- always take head off with exhaust and inlet manifold on- much easier. You won't get the EGR off i doubt.

Have always left the manifolds in place on the 5 or 6 I have done, yeah nuts are a little awkward to get to. If its rounded off as said then you will need to take the whole lot off to get better access to the rounded nut
