Hi, my Surf doesn't start anymore, tried all morning. On the stop solenoid there is a connector with 2 wires; with the ignition on there is 6v on both wires, with ignition off,5.75 V on both wires. That can't be right, can it? Could be the imobiliser? (Sigma alarm ac 110,don't have the code to dissable it). Thanks

Problem sorted. What it was,I've cut the wire that goes from the loom to the glow plugs, and replaced with a new one from relay straight to glow plugs. No good! The original wire is connected to the ECU and thru ECU it commands the Spill Control valve to open.Reconnected the old wire and no problem. Thanks
