Last problem to sort.. STEERING

Got a problem with the power steering...

Its ok when driving, but when stationary, and trying to turn, the wheel shudders violently. I have tried tightening the belt, but no improvement.

Could someone have put the wrong steering fluid in? I have read on here about DEXRON?? If i wanted to drain all the fluid out and refill with dexron how would i go about it?

Or maybe i should try a new belt???

Check to see how much fluid you've got...I don't what's in mine, just some generic stuff, but when it was almost empty, I had the same problem.

Also - check the steering idler, do you get wobbly steering when driving?

You may want to check your tyre pressures too...

But, there will be someone along soon who knows what they are talking about....
