    Can anyone help !
I have a 91 2.4 td auto, with a knackered head and a transmission that is on the way out. I have been offered a 94 3.0 td accident damaged, will the engine and gearbox transplant.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

You'd need the whole wiring loom and all the ECU's to get it working properly, unless you can park the two cars side by side and swap bits as you go, I avoid it.

Dash wiring is slighly different, with different turbo and engine check light lay out.

Apart from that, go for it. I would!

        3litre swop

Hi l have change 2 3litre T/D bodies over and l think l am the only one who has done the job. as already said you would need the whole vehicle to swop over here is a list of some of the differences.

        1/ Radiator and bits
2/ Engine mounts on chassis are in the wrong place
        3/ Brake master cylinder different
        4/ Vaccum hoses
5/ Every bit of electrical part under the bonnet
6/ Heater pipes running to the rear heater are different
        7/ Full exhaust system
8/ Then you need the whole of the under-dash loom and heater and the loom going to the back of the car
9/ You will have to change all door looms as well to match.
There are lots more differences but l would be here alnight listing them quicker to fix your own up. l have two 1991 SSR Limited auto gearbox,s for sale if you are interested.
