  • Bad day (snapped wheel stud)

    Couple questions for you guys.
    I have a 91 surf, 2.4LTD 4wd
Snapped a front wheel stud (friggin bad day, went from bad to worse)
I was taking the front wheels off to check my pad life (haven't checked since I purchased the vehicle)
Passenger side rim came off no problems, the problem started on the driver side.
Wheel nuts came off no problem, then tried to take the wheel off. I kicked, smashed ripped, pulled. I tried everything to get this friggin thing off.
I had to get to somewhere, and I was running out of time, so I just put the rims back on. While torquing the nuts back on, I snapped a wheel stud!

What exactly is the procedure to put a new one on?
When I go to take the rims off, whats the trick to getting the rim off if its stuck on like a #######?

wheel stud replacement is quite easy as sledge said.
look at the links below.as for getting the wheel off,try jacking it up and hitting it from behind..make sure before you refit the wheel, you apply a little copper grease to each stud

      good luck
      Non intercooled nothing.
