New Sufer!! Cooling and electical Probs!

Hello, I've recently bought a 92 Surf 2.4 auto, think I had a bargin but i've a few niggly probs.... Hope someone can help.

1. The rad doesn't appear to be getting warm at the bottom. Ive flushed the system out about 4 times, cleared the air blocks and still the same... Oh the thermostat is fine!

2. The two silver pipes leading to the heater matirx have now sprung a leak! Any ideas where I get new ones???

3. ECT button.... After reading up on what it does and doing the 40mph trick to test it i've come to the conculsion it doesn't work!!! How do I start to fix it?

4. Idle up button.... Does nothing!!!

Apart from that it's done 68k and goes like stink.... For a surf!!! And so far no probs with the head cracking... touch wood!!!

The rad won't be hot at the bottom as the water has cooled by the time it gets there

Try vagrant No.2 he is breaking a couple of trucks
