Hi Guys/Girls, I've had a 1993 2.4 turbo Diesel SSR-G for a few months now and love it,Everything is fine,everything works OK and drives great,But I have one problem, in the morning when I first start it a huge amount of black/grey smoke comes at the Exhaust, once she's ticked over for less than a minute its fine no smoke at all. clean as when she's running to. It only smokes after it has been sitting for the day. So First thing in the morning then also when I start it after work say 10 hours of sitting there.
People have advised me it could be several things:
1) That the injector seals are leaking so while sitting there it leaks and when it starts up its just the leaked fuel being burnt off?
2) Dirty Injectors?
3)Head possibly cracked?
After finding this forum and seeing that a lot of you seem to no your stuff I'd thought I'd pass it buy all of you. I have a warranty on all parts and labour and its due in for a service, and I would just like to know before taking it in so I don't get ripped. you know how it is!
Anyway any advice would be gratefully received
