  • Well going to fit an intercooler..little help needed

Well in the next week or so I am going to fit the intercooler..
Am I rite in thinking it goes where the metal-ish pipe is over the engine?

Does anyone have a clear picture of their intercooler fitted?

I am just going to put the angle grinder to the bonnet, and was thinking of making one scoop sucking in air right above the intercooler and then 2 little ones on either side either facing the windscreen or the side to allow hot air to get out easier..

    Is that a smart plan?

    any help be good thanks..
One day at the time I guess..

re the vents to let air escape, you could always do it the chav way, lots of washers under bonnet hinges to lift rear of bonnet.
granted it does look odd,but it works

        haha
Yeah I did think about that..
But I do not like chav's hence why I am looking for other alternatives..

Think I might cut holes on the side and back and make some nice vents out of it.. or get a long narrow vent to go across the back facing the windscreen to sort it..

I am not really @rsed how it looks as long as it works well....
