Help Needed! UJ's shot!

Well, I have managed to get the uj out, after much cursing....
When the new one arrives, has anybody got any hints how to get it back in easily?

They go in a lot easier than they come out The main thing to take care of is that none of the rollers get displaced when you're pressing the caps in - make sure the caps go in square as well.

Plenty of thick gooey grease then? I am shaking at the thought of it... I will also get a spare propshaft too i think!

Well I have managed to replace the UJ which arrived today.. We will see how it goes!!! Richard... I am still wanting a spare!

I got it here still anyway but not had chance to measure it up against mine yet but it will sort it in the next day or 2 and let you know if its the same as the auto one,unless TonyN or anyone knows on here if the 2.4 manual and auto rear props are the same

Dean i have now got a rear prop from a 3.0l auto that will fit the 2.4 auto aswell.if you still want this one let me know and if so i can bring it to Exeter next friday for you aswell with the wheels
