Another rear window motor thread...

Hi all

I had an issue the other day with my rear window motor. It was working one minute then it stopped winding, i could hear the motor running but no movement. (Fortunately the glass was fully up) Just had a look this evening & the worm drive gear is a bit chewed up & the drive plate with the 3 pins has come un fixed from the drive gear plate! I was going to glue it as i saw it had worked for others on here, but decided to bolt it instead. Unfortunatley the circlip was shot & didnt have one the right size! Managed to get it back together but it just dont wanna know now....

My question is does anyone know if these items can be reconditioned. Or am i stuck with getting a new one for silly money from Toyota?
