          hi Dave and welcome.
You will need about 6 to 7 litres of semi synthetic 15w40 for the engine oil with a filter change

Read the full post/thread, not just the 1st line.

6.8 Litres if you change the filter.

don't buy filters from halfords as you'll be paying £16 just for a fuel filter. Go to www.milneroffroad.com and order a filter kit from them, you'll get the air, fuel and oil filter for about £20ish delivered
or got to www.roughtrax4x4.com and get the filters from there.
i get mine from milners and never had a problem with them

Thanks again Richard, will check out those sites.
As for, Just reading the 1st line, the 1st paragraph states:
"General servicing info for quick reference. This what we've got so far, based on 3lt UK 4Runner handbook so far. need differences on the Surfs to be put up to. "
                  This is not a 2.4.

You're not endearing yourself to me mate.

Do you think I'd reply to your first post with a link to something that was useless to you?

As I said before, read the post/thread properly, it answers your question fully.

And whilst my fingers are warm, if you're asking a specific question about a 2.4, tell us that in the question. Sometimes the Force doesn't work here.

                          Hi Trev

I wasn't aware that the 2L-T was the 2.4 as I'm new to the Surf, it said at the top of the thread that the info was based on the 3ltr UK 4 Runner no mention of the 2.4.

But thanks for putting me right I know now.
