Drinking diesel for fun

Hi all,

My brothers 2.4 surf is using twice as diesel as it should be no apparent leeks ans the air filter dosnt look too bad. Any ideas

could it be the pump and i'am guessing you can't adjust it

How does he know hes using too much fuel?

Its like my Mrs., she says to me " I used to get a half tank for a tenner, now its barely over the quarter mark"

So I tell her to take another tenner out my wallet....

because we have had about six 2.4 motors between us and know how much diesel she should be using

So she's only getting 10mpg? With no leaks and no black smoke, that's really hard to do.

Over fuelling to that extent will produce lots of smoke.
