any tricks i should know B4 replaceing pump seal

g'day all. does anyone know the procedure for replacing pump distributor (head seal) seal on a 2.4lt 2L-TE diesel pump. when the pump is out of the vehicle is it just a case of un-doing the four hex bolts and replacing seal. also can it be done installed in vehicle or does it mean a lot of mucking around. thanks in advance to all

ok i have had my pump out twice, first time was to do a seal kit, that blew a leak so i got a SH pump and used that, my advise is if you value the skin on your knuckles dont do it in the car, if ya one of the lucky ones that the top seal leaks ya migh be ok.

spacific advise i cant help much but im pretty good at getting a pump in and out now lol
