  • Tweaking suspension

I was just wondering about tweaking the 4" suspension lift. As most of you know the lift comes with lower wishbone drop brackets and ball joint spacers to get the lift. what i was wondering was whether you could therefore get another possible 2" lift by lifting the wishbones to the same angle then as the 2" kit alone does. obviously with manual hubs. It got me thinking when i was looking at the almost horizontal wishbones with the four inch kit on! Any ideas

Bigger the better, bring on 38" tyres
Completely bitten by the off road bug, and what better vehicle to do it in!

    Bodylift?

Tweaking the torsion bars up 1" on my surf left me with a terrible ride quality and practically no down travel before it hit the bumpstops. Have put it back to factory until I work out which way to go.

Have been thinking of making myself a 2" lift version of the superlift kit. Just need the spare time. It's getting the ball joint spacer at the top aligned that seems the only problem - the bottom arm drop brackets look pretty easy.
