    Hi Rich
Have a look through the links at the bottom of this page and/or go to the search function and put in 'torsion bars' or 'suspension lift'

Basically you can wind up the torsion bars by a maximum of around 1.5 inches. If you do this the ride at the front of your vehicle will get quite choppy so its better to get ball joint spacers to achieve this lift instead whilst preserving your ride quality. You can get these from either Surfenstein or TonyN on here.
Putting the torsion bars up any more than this will mean you get through CV boots very quickly due to the increased angle.

1.5 on the front should be fine but if you do want to go any higher get some freewheeling hubs for the front axle to preserve the CV boots.

Love to say this is my knowledge but technically its all passed on second hand form the kind folks on here as I'm soon to do the same thing

As Bio has already said, you wont need uprated bars.

They help if you have a lot of front weight, Winch an winchbumper etc.

Ball joint spacers are a lot better.

Manual locking hubs would help in the future as it will stop cv joint/gaiter ware
