I have got a 2.4 turbo here for sale for £100 all in if your interested a new or recon turbo is going up in the hundreds.Let me know if you want this one and i'll sort delivery out asap for you once payment is received

What sort of condition is it in? How many mile had the vehicle it has come from done and is there any play in the bearing?

I've got to be careful as I dont wat to replace it with one that will fail again soon.

i have just brought the turbo in and there is a bit of play but not much.The turbo come off an engine that Tiger bought from me which according to the clocks have got 152000 on but i don't know how many of those were km's and how many were miles.
Tiger is happy with the engine so i would of thought the turbo is in just as good working order.I've sold 5 turbos 2nd hand and haven't had any come backs as of yet.

I sent you an email regarding the turbo, however looking into the replacement it appears that there are two types of CT20 signified by a part number.

I am assuming that they will be different so I would need to establish where the part number is on mine by removing / attempt overhaul first and then seeing if it corresponds to yours.

Do you know if either turbo fits either car?

theres the ct 20 and the ct20b i think it is and the one you need is the ct20.I am certain tho that both of these turbos are the same but one is modded a bit for the celicas, as a guy on ebay bought one from me and i done some searching for him and it came down to the fact they are the same turbo.
The ct20b i think is just a bit more powerful but whether or not the surf can take the extra bit of power from it i don't know
