The garage has now decided that it is the diesel injection pump that is my problem not the turbo!!
SO!, would anyone know of anyone who reconditions them? or supplies new ones without having to rob a bank first!
I have a local diesel place that will supply a re con for £300, but I then have £150 labour on top!
I guess that this may be te going rate, but I thought asking you guys first would make sense!
Looking forward to getting my ar back! this micra is S****** and embarrasing!......

In truth, I'd be taking it somewhere else if they could get an I.P fault mixed up with a turbo fault.

you should be able to pick up a good 2nd hand fuel pump for no more than £100 top.Talk to supersurf and see if he still has one from the 2.4's he's breaking or even biohazzard as he is now breaking a 2.4

go for the 'old' £200 new one from toyota, get it fitted by a competent garage or mate.
