timer control valve.....grrrr

Can anyone tell me if either of these is the timer control valve..? Toyota just seem like they're not really interested.... well that is unless i want to book it in and pay £70 for them to drink coffee!!!!!!

I'am sure the experts will be along soon but i don't think it's any of those. I think it's the round thing top right of your pump. But could be wrong.

I checked my book and it seems that your first pic 1 is the timing control valve.
Hope this helps.
I use the Toyota Prado, Hilux, 4Runner & Surf work manual.
I think it is the best one out.
It is by Max Ellery and is numbered EP.T034

Well i wipped the pump out yesterday.... (ha wipped...I wish!!)
Took out the timmer control valve and ran pwer thought the thing...
It worked fine..? Tried power to the cut off valve... worked fine..?
so now its all back together and the beast seems to be running... in fact its running even better due to the pump wasn't lined up with the hatch marks on the housing..!!
Only time will tell now...
