I have just spend the last two days with my old man fitting a solid flywheel and clutch. was hard work and am totally knackered now!!!

My question is, i read on here that the solid flywheel is louder than the duel mass one. Mine feels great but wanted to check whether its normal to have a clatter whilst in neutral and idling? doesn't seem to make much more noise when driving. don't fancy having to take the whole thing off again, at least untill my shoulders are feeling better!!

mine did this and tonyn checked it out and said there is nothing to worry about. dose te noise go when you put your foot on he clutch? if so it is the same

yep as soon as i touch the clutch it stops. i hoped that would be the case, not worried about the noise unless it was gonna cost me more and mean taking the ###### thing off again!!!
