Hi, new to forums.


Looks like I've been suckered into a crap used car once again. Previous owner claimed it had the upgraded head put on, rad cap is new, radiator looks new...

Water boils out of the overflow tank.

So a new head then? I'll have to take it to the garage. Do I have any consumer rights in the UK? It was bought at a dealer.

I owned and cooked a Toyota Townace 2.0td previously and had to abandon it and later sold it on eBay for 300 quid.

You have 3 Months by LAW for the DEALER to put it right.

I'm guessing a 2.4 'cos of the head etc.

If it were me I would bring it back and kick the seller up the arse!

hello, another bournemouth surfer. The best place to go is 4x4 toys in Baisingstoke, TonyN on here. but not sure if he's still working on surfs yet. What luck have you had with the dealer you bought it from?

the dealer asked if I could have it checked out at a garage and we'll go from there... wanted to do a trip to France and Spain this summer but not if these problems persist!

it looks like 4x4toys is shut until further notice...
