i know i dont need it right now but i wanna know it will be working by summer so here goes, i press my air con button and nothing happens, the pulley on the pump just freewheels, can i put a multimeter on the pumps connection to see if it has a feed and if it does then whats the problem likely to be and if it doesn't whats the prob likely to be? cheerz boys and girls.

when u flick the switch on u have to put the fan on aswell
does the switch light up? if not theres a fuse under the glove box
if all the above is ok then the system proberly needs a re gasSurf.gone but not forgotten

If the clutch is OK, 9 time out of 10 it needs regassing.

The switch does light up and the fan was on, theres some gas in it cos i stuck the end of a pen in the valve thingy n got a face full. one of my neighbours is an aircon specialist n i helped his daughter once and he said i can always have free gas, before i knew he done air con though i fort he was offering me diesel! i havent got any batteries on the truck at the moment but should have it all working by mid week so i shall try it all then, cheerzSurfin on the tidal waves of mud!Comment
