PUMP LEAK 2.4td ( not from the easy repair place)

I have developed a fuel leak from the bottom of the Fuel pump.
I think it is the seal at the distributor end and oh it's a 2.4efi 92 ssr-x.
Can anyone tell me if it can be repaired with out pump removal ???
Only had it a month and i'm alittle P-ssed off and thinking i should have kept my frontera !!!

Are you using veg???.......if so go back to diesel..........if on diesel Try som atf fluid in the derv ........if it still leaks it's pump out for a reseal ......

And try Diesel bob

they are very tempermental you know,
frontera,,,shame on you,
once youve had the old surf for a few months there will be no going back,
they are great toys mate,
anyway i have a diesel pump for a 1993 surf if you get stuck,

I have seen a number of threads were people say they have had no problems with veg, i have gone back to derv but it still leaks when cold but stops when warmed up.
i'll try the atf but i would rather fix the problem,

Have found the problem and i am in the middle of repairing it.
