If your not planning on doing the work yourself, contact Nigel at www.supertrux.com

Im sure he can arrange for some form of engine swap.

Gotta be honest, havent seen that many diesel - diesel conversions. A lot seem to be Diesel to petrol.

      Good luck!

planning on doing the work meself,
got the truck free, and the spare engine,
so if thay bolt in, its only bout days work,
then sell it on, so tidy profit to be made

Very unlikely to be a bolt-on job. Most engine swaps are hard and/or long work, involving custom fabrication and lots of modification.

i was meaning just bolting up to the bellhouseing,
if the its the same bolt pattern then the rest is easly done, but finding this out is allways the hardest part
            done a few engine swaps

I was wondering about this myself, as I have an TLC LJ70 MK2 with 2.4 and need to know if there the same engine, mine doesn't have AC, but I would like to bolt on a AC pump, but use it for a air compressor! also would be good to know from a spares point of view.

                    Mark......

Isn't the block the same but the pump is electronic on the import LC's & Surfs?

That, for a couple of reasons, was (in this instance) a silly question.
