              Hi Ian,

I've changed Hilux timing belts a couple of times so I have no worries about stripping it all and doing the seal.

How long did the job take, and how did you get the seal out - coz mine has deffo gone and needs sorting.

              cheers

The seal just hooks out .......it's about a 20 min job ontop of the belt .

Replace the seal with a new one anyway as it would be rude not to.
Does the old seal feel hard and/or brittle? maybe your engine oil got hot and cooked it causing the leak.

Replace with a Genuine 90311-42026 seal. Looks like you have the black rubber seal. Was it a genuine seal? The 90311-42026 is a Viton seal and may solve the problem. Make sure you check the crank where seal is for any scoring. If it is scored it will destroy any seal.
