  • Diesel pump repairs

Can anyone recomend a pump repairer as mine is/was leaking from around the inlet block to pump face?

I have the pump out, what a great challenge that was. The satisfaction of that last nut was worth it alone.

I have spoken to AP Diesels who were very helpful but say to re con pump its going to be £550 + Vat. This doesnt seem unreasonable for what they are offering but I only want the seal/gasket replaced so it doesnt leak as it worked fine before. Is this unreasonable or unrealistic?

Once this is fixed I will have replaced or fixed just about everything!

Then who wants a 2.4 with new head, block, rad, starter motor... ouch!!!

    Thanks in advance Steve
    Should have bought a 3ltr
