Nah, unless its leaking, but then you'd see fuel around the filter. Only the winter trucks have them, it should start fine without it working. THe pump its self may be knackered though, like I said on the phone, Linda's truck takes an age to start after doing the filter and the pump diaphram is knackered.Originally posted by sledge
