    quick question, what do the two sensors on the fuel primer do? this is the one on a pre face model, pic to follow

    Do you mean the primer pump on the fuel filter?

        Its the fuel heater, and its temp control sensor.

              Nah, unless its leaking, but then you'd see fuel around the filter. Only the winter trucks have them, it should start fine without it working. THe pump its self may be knackered though, like I said on the phone, Linda's truck takes an age to start after doing the filter and the pump diaphram is knackered.

              As for have I got one....

              Yup, but no, you can't have it, its for Linda's truck to replace hers, and to help heat the veg oil.

                ok if i put on a differant primer one without the sensors on will it work ok, and fire it up, as i have one and tryed it, and it pumps solid

                              no wasnt thinking that m8 nigel said a small piece of dirt can stop it getting through if it gets blocked? was wondering if it the same block from fuel tank n need a blast of air? or perhaps the filter was $$$$
