Is there anyone in or around leeds or bidport in dorset making thier own bio diesel ( yes i know its almost 300 miles away, my g/f lives in dorset) anyway back to the question. If there is can you give me some info/help in setting a system up would it be possible to see your system up and running. Am using 50/50 mix veg oil and diesel at the mo and have'nt had any probs with it and speaking of veg oil anyone know where the best deals are?

Hunt about for a waste-recovery supplier if you want the cheapest, easiest Veg Oil (~40p/litre)

Or scrounge it yourself & filter (~2 to 10p/litre, for processing costs.)

One in Plymouth that makes Biofuel, but will also supply 100 litre, 200 litre or 1,000 litre drums of filtered, settled veg if you ask nice.

Well, 1,000 litres ought to do that (if you're gentle)
There's also Longma in Herefordshire and there's a place near chester.
Oh, and I vaguely remember one between Turnberry and Maybole...

there is a company called T L C in bridport (dorset) who sells bio diesal !
unfortunately they wont sell it to 4x4 owners ! quote from there website ......
"other than working vehicles, we do not supply 4x4's (get off the road and stay off!) and usually limit the amount to between 20-40 litres per week."
                here's a link/url to there site
                http://www.bridport-tlc.org.uk/Jooml...d=10&Itemid=39

MY question IS ? would a 50/50 mix of veg oil and bio diesal work ?
HAS anyone tried this or heard anything like it !
you can buy bio diesal for 70p a litre and mix 50/50 with veg oil reducing running costs even further ! just a thought ! ouch ! it doesn't happen often ! my thinking that is

been looking into the whole SVO/WVO/Bio Diesel thing pending the purchase of a surf and thought I was on to a winner, there's a place about 3 miles from me that sells bio diesel from the forecourt, called them this afternoon and it's 112.9 ppl, 7ppl more than mineral diesel, what the .... is that about?

I'm really struggling to work that out, thought bio diesel was meant to be about 80ppl?
                          Toot! Toot!
