1990 2lt mechanical into a 1991 2lte efi body

Hi, can / has anyone ever put a 1990 surf mechanical injection complete motor into another surf (1991 efi injection model car because the 1990 motor is good ( i wrote it off), I want to know what hassles i will have with the electrical connections etc since the 1991 model has the efi injection pump and other efi related gear/ computer ? wiring loom ..

I just want to drop the 1990 mechanical motor straight in the 1991 model car.

am i trying to do to much ? please anyone with any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated. asap. please.

I would think that it would go in without too many problems, as you already have more wiring than you need for a 2LT motor, so you should be able to rip some of it out.
