Peak Fuel Flow

Does anyone know what the peak fuel flow, in litres or gallons per minute, for a 2.4 TD is?

I'm needing to redo some fuel fittings so I'm going to fit some QRCs and an NRV, need the flow so I can size the fittings correctly.

It's going to be really high through small pipes. Manual says about 10cc per 200 pump-strokes at 1200rpm (at pump).

So at a very rough guess, 1 litre delivered per 4 minutes. (a tank would last 3 hours). The recirculating design means it'll be throwing more than that around.

Does it say how many times the pump strokes per 1200 RPM? I don't have a manual yet, will get one when I get back from holiday.

I would guess that the pump will be making four strokes per rev, one for each cylinder.

As you have 8mm fittings at the filter head, I would assume that would be the safe size to work with on couplings.

that the 2.8 litre diesel needs about 500ml / minute at top revs.
The 2.4 litre shouldn't be far off that.
