    Hi I need to replace both my upper ball joints, Is this a tough job and does anyone have any instructions or diagrams. I was thinking of doing it myself at the weekend.

    the upper ball joints are easy enough to do but you may well need to get new bolts for them as the old studs will be solid.4 Bolts on each ypper ball joint.You should be able to get both done within the hour no probs if you do get new bolts

          I just talked to Toyota and they said they have a listing for 2 different ball joints for the left and right. Anyone have any info on this.

              yup, toy part # RH is 43350-39085, LH is 43360-39085

              they may well only be handed because they aren't sealed so it keeps the grease nipple/plug accessible, aftermarket ones such as the roughtrax ones http://www.toyotahilux.com/?doc=16&cid=146&vid=309 will be sealed and won't have grease nipples, therefore will be identical.

                    I orderd two from auto supplys in ireland for €60 for the two. Milners was €77 inc shipping to ireland.

                        I live on the edge of Dublin and Wicklow but the surf loves to go into the Wicklow Mts at the weekend.
