the upper ball joints are easy enough to do but you may well need to get new bolts for them as the old studs will be solid.4 Bolts on each ypper ball joint. You should be able to get both done within the hour no probs if you do get new boltsOriginally posted by irishoffroadHi I need to replace both my upper ball joints, Is this a tough job and does anyone have any instructions or diagrams. yup, toy part # RH is 43350-39085, LH is 43360-39085
they may well only be handed because they aren't sealed so it keeps the grease nipple/plug accessible, aftermarket ones such as the roughtrax ones http://www.toyotahilux.com/?doc=16&cid=146&vid=309 will be sealed and won't have grease nipples, therefore will be identical.=========
